Biography
I am a Ph.D. student in Information Science, with a concentration in Data Science, at the University of North Texas and a researcher in the Intelligent Data Engineering and Analytics (IDEA) Lab. I am interested in a question that connects my work across domains: what makes data—and the AI built from it—useful in real settings? In healthcare, I study how diverse expressions of medical concepts can be brought together into more reliable datasets. In autonomous driving, I examine how the quality and redundancy of multisource, multimodal data affect the tasks a system needs to perform. Through ALiT, I am extending that interest to AI-supported professional learning for librarians. Together, these projects connect data evaluation and improvement with thoughtful AI applications that support human expertise.
